VOCAB QUIZZES WILL BE WEDNESDAY!

English 7 - Vocab 12 - quiz on Wednesday.  We will finish pronouns - the test will be on Thursday.  We will also work on outlining our papers.

English 8 - Vocab 12 - quiz on Wednesday.  We will finish pronouns - the test will be on Thursday.  We will also work on writing analysis.

Reading - We will continue with The Giver.  Quizzes as needed.

DON"T FORGET THE MARKETPLACE BASKET.  We are to bring in grill items.

English 7 - Our vocab quiz will be on Friday on lesson 11.  On Wednesday we will have a quiz on subject and object pronouns - know the chart.  We will continue working with pronouns this week as well as beginning to work on introductory paragraphs.

English 8 - Vocab quiz 11 on Friday.  Subject and object pronoun quiz on Wednesday.  We will work on pronouns this week as well as how diction creates mood.

Reading - We will continue in The Giver quizzes given as necessary.

English 7 - We will finish our analysis of "The Witch" and have a test on this on Tuesday.  We will begin writing a poem - the final copy will be due on Thursday.  This is to be done solely in-class.  On Friday, we will begin Unit 11 on pronouns.  Vocabulary lesson 10 this week - quiz on Thursday.

English 8 - We will study ode and write one - the final copy will be due on Wednesday.  We will also learn to analyze a poem for rhyme and rhythm as well as literary elements.  On Friday we will begin Unit 11 on pronouns.  Vocabulary lesson 10 this week - quiz on Thursday.

Reading - We will begin our new novel this week, The Giver by Lois Lowery.  There will be several chapter and vocabulary quizzes during the week based upon our progress with the novel.
