WORDLY WISE LESSON 15 THIS WEEK.  QUIZ ON THURSDAY.

English 7 - This week we will work on poetry.  We will write haiku and odes.

English 8 - We will read Roald Dahl's "Lamb to the Slaughter" this week.  The test is on Friday.  Also, do not forget that Book in the Box projects are due Wednesday.  Please remember to complete your notecards with this project!

English 9 - PowerPoint presentations this week.  We will also begin reading Elie Wiesel's Night.  Please remember to return permission slips for Holocaust videos.

English 7 - We will finish our unit on sentence variety/clauses.  The test on this is on Friday.

English 8 - We will read "The Landlady"  this week.  Test is on Friday.

English 7 - We will work on sentences and clauses this week.  We will also work with varying sentence structure and developing stories with suspense.

English 8 - We will read "The Most Dangerous Game".  The test on this will be Friday.

English 9 - PowerPoint projects in class this week.

English 7 - We will work on verbals this week.  The test will be on Friday.

English 8 - We will review language usage rules this week.  Test on this on Friday.  We will also read the short story, "The Lottery".  The test for this will be on Thursday.

English 9 - We will review language usage rules this week.  We will also continue our study of musicals.  There will be a test on this next week.  Also, all novels must be finished by Monday, February 9.  We will be creating PowerPoint presentations in class next week.
